Magnolia Ink Christmas Cover

Love Heart from Valentine Collection 2009

This may look a little familiar, woohoo, I was the lucky cover girl for the Magnolia's Christmas edition. I only just received my copy of the Magazine and I'm sure you will all agree, it just keeps getting better & better. I love all Magnolia's new goodies, from the gorgeous new stamps, doohickey dies, stunning papers and other beautiful embellishments and of course the super talented Design Team's amazing creations are so inspirational.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween Friends,

Halloween has not been a holiday celebrated that much in Australia over the years, but it is now becoming more popular. Aussie's are party animals, we love to dress up, have fun and party, so any excuse will do.

Here is a couple of my cards from the Magnolia's Ink Magazine, Autumn edition. I was hoping to make something new, but anyways hope you have a fabulous weekend regardless if you celebrate Halloween or not.

Stamps are from Magnolia's So Spooky Collection 2009 & the Bat is from Magnolia Fall Stamps 2007.

Stop by Magnolia's Inspiration Blog to find out all the latest news and there you will also find a listing of the amazingly talented Design Teams Blogs.

Happy Thursday Everyone,

With Halloween fast approaching I thought I would take this opportunity to wish you all a
Happy Halloween
and to share with you the template and instructions on how to make these fabulous Treat Boxes, I'm sure they will be a big hit with the little one's in your lives.

I know it's still a few weeks away, but you may remember seeing my Coffin Treat Box in the last Magnolia Ink Magazine, Cozy Autumn Edition. I thought you might like to make some of your own for some trick or treating gifts, here is the link with the template, instructions and video from the Martha Stewart website and is very easy to make.

Halloween is not a holiday many Australians celebrate, but I must admit I do have a little bit of a devil in me at times and love to colour these adorable images.

How adorable is Edwin, TOO CUTE TO SPOOK, he is obviously playing dress up, and even the Bat is adorable. Hope you have fun colouring up your Magnolia Images this Halloween.

Shop til you drop

 Happy October Everyone,

Wow, I don't know where September went, I'm sorry I haven't been by to visit your blogs or replied to any of your wonderful comments, I've been in and out of hospital and will be for the next few months. My blogging will have to take a back seat for a while, but please know, I will be back and I thank each and everyone one of you for taking time to visit.

Even though I haven't made any new creations, I've been colouring images, just no mojo or energy to make cards, hopefully October will be a better month. Anyways, this card has been in the works for a while and I eventually got the photo taken.

The stamps are from Magnolia's Bon Voyage Collection - Tilda goes Shopping & Boutique Window. I love to shop as most girls do, so I couldn't resist these adorable stamps.

For dimension I made a Shadow Box Card (here is a tutorial). I stamped the Boutique on acetate to represent the window, and of course I had to have the new Tim Holtz embossing folders when they first came out, but this is the first time I have used the brick embossing folder, perfect for these stamps and smothered the bricks with crackled paint, added a diamond & pearls swirl a gift from the gorgeous Stephanne. My Boutique is a very high end jewellery store, and certainly wouldn't look out of place in Hollywood's Rodeo Drive.

Stamps: Magnolia's Bon Voyage Collection - Tilda goes Shopping & Boutique Window
Copics: Skin E00, 000, 11, R20, Pinks, R83, 81 & R000, Blues B93, 91 & Hair E31, 30 & 25
Other: Magnolia Designer Paper & Doohickey Tilda Lace, Border Punch for Awning - EK Success, Ribbon - May Arts, Crackled Paint (Picket Fence) Ranger, Watermark designed by Heather Rolin.
