Fairydust Tilda using Doohickey Dies

Magnolia's new Doohickey Leaf (from the Leaf & Swirl)
Fairydust Tilda

Hello Stampers, I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the week. I have at last caught up on all my DT commitments and now have time to play with some of the Fairytale stamps and Magnolia's new Doohickey dies until now. The fabulously creative Pam from Expressions with Heart inspired me, she has been playing with the new dies, take a look at this  stunning creation, using all the Doohickey dies, thanks Pam, I hope you will stop by and have a look at her beautiful blog.

Magnolia's new Doohickey Tilda Lace and matching tag (Vintage Tag)

I coloured up Fairydust Tilda, I love her to bits, she looks to me she could be blowing fairydust or even kisses, and in this case I have her blowing both, I have added some tiny hearts. My Sister-law has been having a bit of a hard time of late and I thought this might be a nice card to send to cheer her up a little, hope she likes it. I dusted off my Prismacolor pencils, I haven't used them in years, as you can see I need lots more practice, but I am sure she will still love this. I have used the Doohickey leaves, sponging them with distress ink. Then on the inside I've used Tilda Lace (border) to make a pocket to hold Vintage Tag. I have written a little note on the back of the tag.

Happy Spring at MDUC

Happy Sunday Stampers,

It is time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge and this week the challenge is to make a seasonal themed card.

I have been itching to ink up this gorgeous girl (Tulip Tilda) from Magnolia's new Wedding Collection and as you can see she would be perfect for so many occasions. I have teamed her up with the tulip (Two Tulpis) from Magnolia's Easter Hoppy Easter Collection 2010 , a perfect match.

I have coloured the images with Copics (V000, V12,15,17 & B000 - B04) cut them out and popped them up for some dimension, airbrushed the background, added lots of Star Dust stickle sparkle, the papers are from Kaisercraft (Utopia Collection), loving these gorgeous colours, and then stamped the inside with more of the tulips and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Hope you will join us this week.

Bon Voyage Tilda

Hello Everyone,

I am back at long last, my apologies, I have been working on my Magnolia Design Team creations for Magnolia Ink 5.

This is a card I made a few months ago for consideration for Magnolia Ink 4, but the combination of stamps were very popular amongst us Design Team girls, they were the first that came to mind when we were advised the magazine would have a Travel theme. Anyways I hope you like it.

Paper/Cardstock: Webster’s Pages – Seaside Retreat, Bazzil Basics Cardstock
Embellishments: Flowers – Wild Orchid Crafts, Ribbon – May Arts, Journey & BonVoyage stickers – K & Co
Colouring: Copic Markers
Ink: Tsukineko Memento Ink, Ranger Distress Ink – Tea Dye

For your Wedding

It's time for another Magnolia Down Under Challenge
And welcome back for challenge #53. Our challenge this week is.....
IN THE NEWS - incorporate a bit of newspaper somewhere on your card.

If you are wondering where my news print paper is, it is poking out from under the big white flower. I struggled a little with this challenge, I've seen some amazing creations using newsprint and the other Design Team members have come up with some amazing examples to inspire you, I hope you will join us this week and show us your wonderful creations.

I've been stuck in Wedding mode now for a while, I love the beautiful Wedding Collection Magnolia recently introduced and after making my Design Team cards to send to Magnolia Sweden,  I just can't stop. I don't know anyone getting married, but at least I will have a couple of cards ready just in case.

This is Magnolia's Bride & Groom, I've coloured them with Copic Markers. I was lucky enough to receive these beautiful doilies, pearls flourishes and tassle trim in my Tickled Pink Stamps DT Kit, Kellie has these available in her store along with some fabulous charms and perfect for Wedding/Anniversary themed creations. The matching gift box was made using my cricut expression die cutting machine, with tags bags & boxes cartridge, I need to buy some more of Kellies gorgeous tassle trim to add to the edges of my gift box. Both my card and gift box was glimmered and glamoured with Glimmer Mist and Stickles.
